The Rev. Damaris Cami-Staples, Senior Pastor (Email)

Damaris started her ministry at First Baptist Church in the fall of the year 2000. She served as the Minister of Christian Education for about three years. She is currently serving as the Senior Pastor. Her focus in ministry is applying the Word of God into daily living. She leads Bible Study every Tuesday night at 7:00 p.m. She has led discussion groups on evangelism, discipleship, marriage, and parenting among others. Her passion is to make Christ known to our generation and she seeks to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ in a relevant way.

Beverly has been with First Baptist Melrose for ten years. She quotes, "this active church always keeps me busy!". Beverly's background was in the legal profession and as a reporter for a county newspaper.

Pamela Beckford, Director of the Chime Time Children's Center (Email)

Pam has been with the center since 1985 and Director since 1998. She is also a member of the First Baptist Church. Pamela Beckford has two grown up children.
