Mission

Our ongoing mission is bringing people to Jesus Christ.

All our ministries and programs are focused on accomplishing this task. According to the Great Commission from Jesus to his disciples recorded in the gospel of Matthew 28:19-20, we invest our time and energy in proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ and in making disciples for him: "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." It is because of this that our church exists to be an instrument of God's Spirit in assisting children, youth, and adults to become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.

Historicaly, we are an America Baptist Church in partnership with other churches around the world. In faithfulness to Jesus Christ we seek to minister to the spiritual, emotional, physical and social needs of the individuals and families that make up our church and of those beyond our church walls.

Last year our church committed much time and energy in a self-evaluating process. We went through the REVISION program to look at ourselves to discover the state of our church. It was a life transforming process for many of us. We polished our mission, and we determined the four areas that will allow us to have an ongoing assessment of how we live our mission statement and how we translate it into action. These four major areas are: Worship, Outreach, Structure, and Communications
